Katie Daley Davies serves as CEO of JEM Underwriting Managers, a business unit of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers. She was a founding member of WOW! (Women. Opportunity. Winning!), Ryan Specialty’s womenfocused employee resource group. Katie has been with Ryan Specialty since 2018.
Katie has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She previously served as President of Amwins Special Risk Underwriters from 2009 to 2018 and, prior to that, was Vice President, Midwest Regional Property Manager with Chubb (formerly ACE). Katie began her career with an internship at Aon in London before working as a broker for Marsh.
Katie earned a bachelor’s degree in government with a concentration in international relations from Georgetown University. She serves on the Georgetown University Allegiance Committee, which supports women’s athletics, and is a founding member of a Young Presidents Organization chapter in Miami. Katie was named Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers’ Executive of the Year in 2023 and has been included on Insurance Business America’s Hot 100 2024, Elite Women 2023, and Elite Women 2020 lists.
