Michael Manus serves as an Executive Underwriter at JEM Underwriting Managers, a business unit of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers. He was promoted to this role in March 2025 after previously serving as Senior Underwriter and Underwriter since joining JEM in 2019.
Michael has built his career at JEM, where he brings strong underwriting expertise and a solutionsoriented approach to specialty property risks. During his tenure, he developed JEM’s deductible buyback product, contributing to the firm’s product innovation and underwriting capabilities. His experience spans underwriting, product development, and collaboration across brokers and carriers.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Butler University. In 2025, he was recognized with the Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers Founder’s Recognition Award for his contributions and impact.
